It may be a sure thing, considering that previews of upcoming Twilight Saga films have been aired at the past two awards shows, and that commercial promos (such as those featuring the over-the-top fictional showbiz agent, Les Grossman, played by Tom Cruise)have specifically targeted Twilight fans.
In fact, it is hard to know what the MTV Movie Awards will do when the last Twilight Saga film has competed for its last title.
Twilight Saga films have dominated both nominations and wins for the past three years. The completion of both the “Harry Potter” and “Twilight” film franchises will open doors for other (individual) films and their stars to have a better chance.
The 2011 MTV Movie Awards air on June 5th.
